UNOPS was tasked by the government of Japan to deliver 1800 ventilators and 2500 oxygen compressors to India on an emergency basis to help combat the devastating second wave of the Covid pandemic. They did, meeting the strict two week time limit by landing the cargo plane at 11:55 on the final day.
